At Blue Jax., we are proud of our history in providing services and equipment for downhole drilling from our offices in both Texas and Louisiana. Our advanced rework manual lathing and milling services exemplify this. We have a 3-axis manual machine that mills, turns, bores, and threads a wide variety of materials. We work with metals such as aluminum, mild steel, stainless steel, 4130 and 4330 steel alloys, as well as exotic metals such as Inconel, monel, kovar, and hastelloy. We will machine delrin and polycarbonate plastic polymers, as well as rubber. Our state-of-the-art equipment mills a wide variety of sizes, including lengths up to 40.35 inches, widths up to 60 inches, and heights up to 70 inches. We accommodate turning diameters up to 36.22 inches and turning lengths up to 160 inches as well. Besides manual lathing and milling, our facilities offer a host of additional services, including phosphate coating, shot peening, saw cutting, grinding, demetcote, and painting to our customers’ specifications as indicated in file types such as AutoCAD, Solidworks, and PDFs.
We work with clients to create prototypes or full production of products with 1 to 1000 parts. Our facilities meet or exceed high industry standards. We are ISO 9001:2015 and Quicktip certified for hardfacing; we have an API License Spec 7-1 for rotary tools, as well as certification documents and certificates of conformance.
